Alan Young
Principal Teacher
Fellow and Examiner UKAPTD
Alan has over fifty years of experience as a competitor, instructor and coach in the Dance industry, winner of many Ballroom and Latin American Championships and later on becoming World Line Dance Champion.
Highlights of his career so far include dancing on the original Come Dancing, being in the British Youth Ballroom and Latin American Team, and training his Junior Line Dance Team to win the World ‘Large Troupe’ Western Line Dance Championships in Stockholm in 2006.
His philosophy is that dance should be fun but likes to get the best out of everybody.
Karen Young
Studio Manager
Having dedicated the majority of her adult life to the dance industry Karen has developed an excellent understanding of the principles of dance and has a vast knowledge of how to run a successful dance studio. She is very approachable, often called “Dance Mum” by her teenage dancers and achieves excellent results through dedication and hard work.
